Karl Hamill interview

Club announcement

Knockbreda football club, chairman, committee, members, manager, coaches and players regret the death of their esteemed friend and long serving committee member Gary Kinkade on 11/1/21. We wish to extend our heartfelt sympathy to his wife Marlene, daughter Natalie, son Scot and the extended family circle.

Gary has been involved in the club for over 17 years. Firstly taking a junior Knockbreda team, before becoming involved in the running of the club and supporting the senior team. He was at the forefront of fundraising and if you wanted a party he was always there as DJ or quiz master and nothing was ever a problem for Gary, he even set himself up as a club cook at one stage and all this done with a big smile.

Recently Gary has overseen the redesign of the clubhouse and boardroom and surprised us all with his joinery talents, a project we will now complete.

We will all miss his bubbly personality ,his hard work ethic, his willingness to try/tell us his different ideas and most of all his kindness, his friendship and his love for all his friends and family.
